Mineral Resources and Energy Minister Gwede Mantashe has laid the blame for South Africa’s power shortages at Eskom’s feet, claiming in an interview with Newzroom Afrika that the utility is “toing and froing” over Karpowership and other winning bids for the emergency power procurement programme.
