Ex-Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane unlawfully received accommodation worth R3.7 million, spent R33.5 million of state funds on her futile impeachment defence, and wiped out her former office’s legal budget with costs orders to the tune of R12 million – but she insists she’s “owed” R10 million more.
