Earlier this year, the Daniel Pienaar Technical High School in Kariega was awarded by the world governing body of International Motorsport. for its equality, diversity, and inclusion achievement. It was in recognition of the school’s programme of offering motorsport as an extracurricular activity to pupils, one of only three in the world.
